Where it takes place...

This is my old desk. Notice the Anime paraphernalia scattered across the desk.  Along with the princess plastered theme, you would think I was a 16 year old fanatic.  I have books to the left and comfortable pillows to the right. It is my quite organized mess! I have a unique style and it is where I like to emerge myself into my writings and work.

And here is my current desk. A smaller view but...notice the Marilyn Monroe photo on the bottom right.  The photo of my husband and I to left. My interests are expanding and I plan to share it with others.  Don't get me wrong...I will always be a disney fanatic.  Don't worry about that.

The Marilyn Monroe picture is actually a picture for my sister Venus. My sister is a lover of Marily Monroe so I am planning to make a collage of Marilyn Monroe and her history.  If she is reading this...the collage is coming soon!

Realization

Turning away can be easy
Turning away can feel good
Turning away can feel better than dealing with life
Turning away can feel great

...

Yet turning away as well all know can feel bad afterwards. We must realize that turning away and not dealing with the situations that come our way can be detrimental in every way.

Turning away can ruin our lives

Journey

JOURNEYING

Why take a journey?
for pleasure?
knowledge?
vacation?
are you searching for something?
where do these people end up after the journey?
sunset, beach, home, with your lover, with your family
where do you end up?
you look beside you
you see your partner in life
lines crossing
contigo all the way
where do you end up?
right here
where I've been waiting.

Think About It

SOMETIMES...

Sometimes life is taken for granted
Sometimes we look at the appearance and never at the soul
Sometimes we cheat with never any control
Sometimes we lie
Sometimes we even kill and don't know why
Sometimes we chastise or even condemn
Sometimes...don't we think?...of the people we hurt and put down
Sometimes we treat them as if they were branded

Sometimes we make fun of other people
Sometimes we make people cry
Sometimes take pleasure even when others die
Sometimes our pride gets higher than the sky
Sometimes I wonder...why? why? why?
Sometimes we do wrong and then have regret
Sometimes...can't we just stop and remember the past and times they got upset
Sometimes don't you know that you could be an example

Sometimes we curse God's Word
Sometimes we use the undesirable G.D. acronym
Sometimes don't we realize that we do need HIM
Sometimes we disobey and hate
Sometimes don't we say that we don't want to miss that pearly gate
Sometimes we have to remind ourselves of the question,"Where are you going to spend eternity?"
Sometimes we just need that certainty
Sometimes we need that knowledge that we are by HIM heard

Sometimes can't we just change our behavior
Sometimes can't we just tame our tongue
Sometimes we need to bring out the unbrung
Sometimes we need to watch how others are treated
Sometimes we need to make sure we're not conceited
Sometimes we better listen to our creator
Sometimes you must remember we will face judgment sooner or later
Sometimes we need to be that needed warrior

Sometimes...only sometimes...turns to always

Original

Wandering through the streets today
Didn't think I was going to see him
My husband is not supposed to be here yet
Brandon is not supposed to be here yet
I am so excited
I come closer
The image comes in closer
Anticipation racing through my veins and...
...
dark hair, same slanted eyes, similar walk, haircut!
is it him!
Hey Bran...!
It's not him
Sadness sets in

Wait...
Dark hair, same slanted eyes, similar walk, haircut!
BRAN!
Where is my husband at?
Sadness takes over....
Tears start to stream

I love you Brandon. Please come home soon.

Writings

My writings are very important to me. They are how I get through sometimes the worst situations. Especially in those cases that I don't have anyone to talk, I know I always have my pen and paper.  It never fails, I always have my outlet. How do you do deal with your situations?

WIDOW

Someone reaches out for her hand
as she tries to reach back
something grabs her from behind
pulls her forward
his hair, as black as the distance of the night
his suit, the color of the bottom of the spectrum
shoes, as shiny as the day they were bought
debonair and suave...
Don Juan
as her beau, he took care of her
bought everything she wanted
but is she happy?

is what she really wants is beyond what she can't cross?
is what she really wants is that hand?
that was reaching for
that was longing for her embrace
she wants one more visit
one more yesterday
one more kiss

returning back to the ocean
every night
she looks upon with great sorrow and grief
the waves yielding, hitting the banks of the shore
covering her feet hoping to remind her of her husband

her husband's memory fades with the tides
while her heart breaks down with each visit
each day comes closer to their deaths
one already passed from the natural
and one wanting to pass from the natural
